     Kerala has a treasure of folksongs as a part of our tradition given by our ancients. The most of them are related to ritual art forms, agriculture and recreation. Here you can hear one song of recreation.

Vanchippattu

      These type of songs are commonly used in the occasion of snakeboat race  A  popular feature of Onam, held on the rivers and backwaters of kerala, in which decorative boats oared by hundreds of boatmen. Race amidst  chanting of songs and cheering by spectators and viewers. Let's hear such a song.
